Anne Mary Lattimer

Anne M. Lattimer, 95, a resident of Wenatchee, passed away on July 30, 2012. She was born on May 10, 1917 at Salmon Arm, British Columbia, Canada to the late Eugene and Lillian (Cameron) Timpany. She was raised on the family farm the only girl reared with eight brothers. She attended school in the valley area near Salmon Arm known as Silver Creek, B.C. then attended St. Ann's Academy in Kamloops B.C. She met William "Bill" David Robertson and they were later married in Salmon Arm in 1939. They made a number of moves that included Hazelton, B.C., Prince George, B.C., and Sicamous, B.C., and in February 1949 they moved to Vashon Island, Washington and then several additional moves throughout the state before East Wenatchee in 1952. She went to work in the area fruit warehouses as an apple packer and later worked as a cook at the Night & Day Café on Wenatchee Avenue. On November 2, 1966 Bill passed away. She later met Harry Lattimer and they were married in 1967 and made their home together in East Wenatchee. Harry passed away on April 19, 1974. She continued to live in East Wenatchee until 2009 when she moved to Blossom Valley in Wenatchee. She was a longtime member of the FOE Aerie #204 of Wenatchee; she enjoyed cooking, gardening, sewing, and canning; she made the best pear butter. She'll be remembered for her "LOVE" of her grandkids. She is survived by her son, Patrick "Pat" (Sue) Robertson, East Wenatchee, step son, Carl (Mary Lou) Lattimer, Wenatchee, brothers; Patrick (Shirley) Timpany, Salmon Arm BC, Canada, Leonard Timpany, Salmon Arm BC, Canada, grandchildren; Laura Happer, Wenatchee, Darren Robertson, Wenatchee, Brandi Hedlund, East Wenatchee, Ginger Roberts, East Wenatchee, David Johnson, Wenatchee, great grand children; Zack Happer, Seattle, Meagan Happer, Moses Lake, Machaela Roberts, Wenatchee, Tristan Hedlund, East Wenatchee, Haley Johnson, Wenatchee, Dylan Johnson, Wenatchee, Ellie Johnson, Wenatchee, and great great grandson; Brody Gideon, Wenatchee, son in-law; Paul Johnson, Wenatchee and special friends; Marge Henkel, Arnie and Doni Wheatcroft, Stella Figley, and Marilyn Vickery. She is preceded by her parents, husbands, daughter; Shirley Johnson, brothers; Frank, Roddy, Clarence "Bubby", John Timpany, and two infant brothers, Albert and Alexander. Step son; Tommy Latimer and step daughter; Donna French. A Graveside Service is scheduled for Saturday, August 4, 2012, 2:00pm at Evergreen Memorial Park, East Wenatchee with a Celebration of Life Reception immediately following.
