Virtudes Pizarro Tribble

Virtudes Pizarro Tribble, 84, a 47 year East Wenatchee, resident, passed away on Monday, March 14, 2011, at Central Washington Hospital, in Wenatchee. She was born on August 14, 1926, at Malaga, Spain, to the late Jose Pizarro Corrales and Ana Ruiz Padilla. She was raised and educated in Malaga, Spain and later went to work as an Administrative Assistant for a textiles factory in Malaga, Spain. She later furthered her studies and became a Beautician and operated her own beauty shop from her home in Malaga, Spain. She became a pen pal with a U.S. Serviceman by the name of Leon Glen Tribble. They met and began a courtship that followed with a large church wedding in Malaga, Spain on January 17, 1963. She moved with her husband to East Wenatchee, where he had property and a newly started fruit orchard. They made their home together in East Wenatchee, until, her her husband, was killed in a tractor accident in 1994. She continued to make her home in East Wenatchee until moving into assisted living facilities in 2005. She was a longtime member of Holy Apostles Catholic Church in East Wenatchee She loved sewing, cooking, gardening,music, dancing and outings with her family and friends. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Dr. Samuel Ortiz, his staff and the Hospice nurses for their compassionate care. Also, thanks to the caregivers at Souve Family Home and Blossom Valley Assisted Living. She is survived by two daughters, Patty Wells, and Diane Tribble, both of East Weneatchee, one sister, Dolores "Lolita" Pizarro Ruiz, Malaga, Spain: two granddaughters, Taylor Wells and Toni Jean Wells, both of East Wenatchee. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Glen Tribble, on July 24, 1994, and 5 brothers, Jose' Pizarro Ruiz, Francisxo Pizarro Ruiz, Antonio Pizarro Ruiz, Miguel Pizarro Ruiz and one infant brother; two sisters, Josefina Pizarro Ruiz and Ana Pizarro Ruiz as well as her dear Aunt, Dolores Ruiz Padilla. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Apostles Catholic Church on Friday, March, 18th, at 1 o'clock with the Rev Argemiro Orozco officiating. The service will conclude at the church.
