Theresa Lynn Brincefield

THERESA L. BRINCEFIELD September 29, 1958 – May 10, 2024 Theresa Brincefield, 65, of East Wenatchee died peacefully on May 10, 2024. Theresa was born to David and Connie Smith on September 29, 1958 in Wenatchee WA. Theresa attended local schools until she met and married Kelly Moore in 1976. They made their home in the Snoqualmie and Bothell area. Kelly and Theresa did not survive the young love and divorced after a few years of marriage. In the early 1980s Theresa married Steve Brincefield. They also lived on the West side of Washington State before settling down in the Wenatchee area. Their marriage ended but they remained close for several years after their divorce. Theresa worked at a number of jobs including bartender, barmaid, fruit packer, and caregiver. She traveled with her dad and various truck driver friends and saw a lot of the United States. Theresa had a sense of adventure and didn’t settle in one place very long. She lived in numerous cities and states including Texas, California, Nevada and Washington. Theresa’s folks fondly called her their ‘little gypsy’ because of her frequent changes of residences and travels. Theresa had a great love for animals and had a special companion ‘Peewee’, a Chihuahua that was a constant companion until his death in 2022. Theresa shared a story of a special time she experienced with her close friend Marilyn and their animal companions. The location was near Blaine, Washington, near a beach area where the sand dollars came in often. The two ladies were walking and enjoying the beach when the dogs started barking and acting up. Theresa really felt there were angels nearby. This was such a dear memory and experience for Theresa that this is where she chose for her and Peewee’s final destination. Theresa is survived by her siblings, Doug (and Debbie) and Christy along with nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at a family member’s house located at 2417 Cascade Avenue NW, East Wenatchee, WA. If you plan to attend the memorial service, please bring a lawn chair for seating. Immediately after the service, a no-host lunch will follow at Country Inn Restaurant located at 620 Valley Mall Parkway in East Wenatchee. The family greatly appreciates the care and comfort provided by Hospice personnel and Argonne Adult Family Home. You each deserve a special recognition for the love and care you provided to Theresa.
