Patricia Lou Reynolds

Dedicated Wife, Loving Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother - Patricia (Pat) Lou Reynolds, age 80 of Wenatchee, Washington passed into Gods hands from Alzheimer's disease on September 1st, 2015. Patricia Lou Reynolds was born on June 25th, 1935 at Thurman, Iowa to Gordon and Francis (Claiborne) Luffman. At the age of 6 months Pat moved from Iowa and settled in a small town in Woodburn, Oregon with her Mother, Father, and sister, Caroline. Pat and her family owned and operated one of the largest berry farms in Woodburn. Pat graduated from Woodburn High School and would later go on to receiving her Associates Degree in Secretarial Skills in Wenatchee, WA. On December 30th 1952 Pat married Charles Jacob Reynolds and they were married for over 62 years. She was a dedicated wife, hard working mother, grandmother, great grandmother. Pat and Charles have five children, seven grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. She was a wonderful example of faith, hope and charity! Pat was very active in her local church The Community of Christ where she served as Elder. She was a leader in many local community groups to include Leavenworth's Vestu Jr. Woman's Club. This association was awarded the Sears Best award and a grant for $10,000. This grant helped renovate and fund many of the parks and community areas that make Leavenworth the tourist attraction that it is today. She used these same leadership skills during her career holding secretarial and booking keeping positions at Leavenworth Fruit Co, Leavenworth School Dist, Catholic Family, and Poltz Rentals. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years Charles; brothers, Gene Luffman and Dale Luffman; children, Debbie (Alan) Noel, Rick (Deanna)Reynolds, Doug (Kathy) Reynolds, Sandy (Jim) Hawkes, Mike (partner Lisa) Reynolds; grandchildren, Caryn (Tom) Dieker, Robert (Melanie) Reynolds, Julie Reynolds, Jeff (Jessica) Reynolds, Ryan (fiancé Chankoda), Jenna Reynolds, Kyle (Tiina) Reynolds and seven great grandchildren, Anthony Trick, Camryn Trick, Mallorie Reynolds, Callie Reynolds, Gabby Reynolds, Alyssa Reynolds and Kaleb Reynolds. She was preceded in death by her parents Gordon and Francis; brother, Kent and sister, Caroline. Pat was a woman led by faith who displayed leadership, love, and kindness to all whom she encountered. She is loved by many and will be missed by all. A celebration of life service will be held at The Community of Christ Church: 690 N Baker East Wenatchee on September 5th at 11:00 am with a light lunch to follow.
