Lester Doyle Embry October 22, 1951 - July 25, 2019 Wenatchee, WA Lester Doyle Embry, Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and uncle, 67, passed away in his home in Wenatchee on the 25th of July, 2019 surrounded by his wife, children, and grandchildren. Born October 22, 1951 in Bakersfield, California, he was the son of the late Lester and Thelma (Gardner) Embry. Lester married his wife, Deborah Ann (Chiuminatta) Embry on May 21, 1981 in Victorville, California. Lester worked for Stemilt Growers from 1990 until 2007. He continued to work in the fruit industry until he retired in 2016. Lester will be remembered for his love of his family and dogs. He will also be remembered for his humor, wit, huge heart, willingness to help anyone in need, and for being hardworking. Lester is survived by his wife, Deborah Ann Embry of Wenatchee; His children: Jody Gould & Francisco of Abilene, TX, Jaqueline Kraus of Spokane, James Hottinger of Victorville, CA, Thomas Cumpton of Riverside, CA, Justin Embry of Wenatchee, Anita Embry of Wenatchee, Karen Embry & Everett of East Wenatchee, Ruby Tweedy & Eric of Malaga, Amanda Chembars & Richard of East Wenatchee, Michelle Chavez of Wenatchee, Sara Embry of Wenatchee, Kimberley King & Jacob of Moses Lake, Alexzandra Embry of Wenatchee, and Alyssa Embry of Wenatchee; his grandchildren: Serriah, William, Christopher, Seth, Chantel, Corie, Jonathan, Paul, Kaylee, Avalie, Tayler, Daniel, Connor, Madison, Jase, Aaliyah, Jacob II, and Olivia; his great grandchildren: Lylianna, Gabriel, Colton and Christopher; his siblings: Jimmy Embry and his twin sister, Ruby Bertram, and many nieces and nephews. Lester was preceded in death by his parents: Lester and Thelma Embry, and his siblings: Donald Embry, Evelyn Dowell, Carl Embry, Jannette Garza, Beverly Garibay, Garry Embry, Sonja Beatty, and Katheryn Boyd. A service will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints located at 1621 Maiden lane in Wenatchee at 1:00 P.M on Saturday August 3rd, 2019. Following the service, the family invites everyone to join them for a Celebration of Life at Lincoln Rock State Park in East Wenatchee.
