Beverly Ann Defalco

Beverly Ann Defalco (Deshefy) passed away peacefully on January 30, 2022, in East Wenatchee, WA. Born to parents, Mary M. Molnar and Eugene J. Deshefy of Norwich, CT, she was fondly nicknamed, "Honey" by her beloved family. She attended Norwich Public School (1947), Norwich Free Academy (1951) and graduated St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing (1954) while receiving the Frances Dyakevicz Kerrigan Memorial Award for Excellence in Nursing. She continued at St. Francis as a registered nurse in Pediatrics where she met Alfred Defalco in 1956. They married and she continued nursing as Al completed his medical schooling. The family grew with the births of their two sons and two daughters, and they would move to Maryland, Massachusetts and briefly to Melbourne, Australia before settling in Littleton, CO. After she divorced, she received her Real Estate license and worked for Century 21 and RE/MAX of Cherry Creek while lovingly raising her four children. She soon met her best friend and partner, Robert Biegel of Denver, CO. They enjoyed forty-four years together sharing their love of baseball, golf, and dancing in Denver and adventures at the beach after moving to Venice, FL in 2003. After Robert's death in 2019, Beverly moved to East Wenatchee, WA to live with her eldest daughter and family. Beverly worked hard to make the lives of those she loved better. She will always be remembered as a kind, generous and compassionate soul who listened intently and gave advice to anyone that needed it. She will be missed by her family and the many friends she leaves behind. She is survived by her children: Jeffrey Defalco (Renee), Jonathan Defalco (Melinda), Susan Grinde (Craig), and Lesley DeFalco (Todd Esque); her grandchildren Elizabeth Rider (Travis), Seth Grinde (Katie), Madison Matson (Joseph), Justin Defalco, Morgan Defalco, and Page Curry;?her great-granddaughter Molly Matson;?her brothers Elmer Deshefy (Barbara) and James Deshefy (Dawn) and?her many loving nieces and nephews. Services and inurnment will be private. In lieu of flowers, online donations can be made in Beverly's name to St. Jude Children's Hospital (stjude.org).
