Benny "Ben" Dale Curtis

Benny Dale "Ben" Curtis May 16, 1950 - October 14, 2021 Benny "Ben" Dale Curtis, age 71, Went home to be with Our Lord, and to join his recently departed wife in Heaven on October 14, 2021. Born May 16, 1950, in Madera, California, to Rev. Marion Curtis and Alma (Bryant) Curtis, He attended High school in sang and played guitar as a guest in local churches, before having a brief stint in the Marines. He met Frances "Frankie" Ellen White while working as a nursing assistant in Snohomish, WA. They were married on May 09, 1972. Ben worked in healthcare and tried his hand in carpentry, but nothing would compare to his love of music. In January of 1980 they welcomed their first daughter, and in August of 1981 their second daughter arrived. Coming from a large family Ben loved his girls and would stay home to take care of them. This is where he would instill a passion for all things music and rock and roll into his children. Ben continued to foster his love of music, writing, and composing hundreds of songs himself, and one professionally produced CD. Ben will be remembered for his love of life, his love of his family, his hearty laugh, and his welcoming friendly spirit. He had a way of making anyone feel welcome and would give you the shirt off his back. Ben may not have had much but he had the love of his family and a roof over his head and a guitar to play. Ben is survived by his daughter Lisa (Dan) Gzyl grandchildren Josanna & Ella of Chelan, WA; his daughter Amanda (Seth) Weedman, grandchildren Dylan, Jade & Kyle of Wenatchee, WA; Surrogate Son Lance Lyman of Wenatchee, WA; Brother, Roy (Marion) Curtis McDole, CA; Sisters, Joyce (Ken) Boekenoogen of Republic, WA & Julie "Jewel" Carollo of Republic, WA. and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Ben is preceded in death by his wife of 49 years Frances (White) Curtis; his father & mother; Rev. Marion & Alma (Bryant) Curtis. Sisters; Betty Polanco & Fern Hindman; Brothers; James Curtis, & Lloyd Curtis.
